Some Websites to Visit:
MIT BLOSSOMS Project:
Teachers from around the world have created video lesson plans on science, technology, engineering, and math subjects. These videos use a blended learning model, where the master teacher explains an activity, then a local teacher will stop the video and lead her or his students in the activity before continuing the video.
Edpuzzle:
Using videos from the internet (YouTube, Khan Academy, National Geographic…) teachers can insert questions for students to answer. Questions can be multiple choice, true or false, and short answers. Students can watch the videos independently, at home or school, and teachers can grade answers. Edpuzzle is a free site.
Quizziz:
Quizizz is a game like question and answer website. Teachers can create their own questions or search a topic for already made questions. Students can use computers or phones to answer the questions. Results are displayed so the teacher and students can see and compete against one another.
Code.org
This website is dedicated to teaching students how to do computer programming. There are lessons that students can follow at their own pace to learn different types of programming languages, from beginning to advanced. They also have video tutorials and contests. Each year, this website sponsors an Hour of Code worldwide activity. The site is available in Bahasa Indonesia.
